SAINT NICOLAE SIMULEASA CHURCH

Saint Nicolae - Simuleasa Church is a XVII century medieval church and it was built, according to the inscription written by Jupan Mirco, with his wife, Ioana and his family, on a triconc plan.
One of the valuable elements of the church architecture is the portal of stone entrance, with accolade profile shape of the upper part, which initially was in the western wall of the narthex.
Above the entrance, with letters dug in stone and blackened by time, stands the writing of 1654.
