The Chindia Park

Skatepark Chindia is a relaxation area with many facilities, including skate and fitness equipment, generous green spaces, with an area of ​​over 3000 square meters, a picnic area, but also smart benches, with wi-fi and charging features of mobile devices.

Completely transformed, Revolution Square has a new pavement, differentiated, depending on the specifics of the surface, modern furniture, benches with awning, bicycle rack, seating area for groups, selective trash cans, drinking fountains. Green spaces have also been laid out, and outdoor lighting is included in the pavement. The modernization and redevelopment of the Revolution Square led to a radical change in the ultra-central area of the city.

Așchiuță Park, located in district IX it has become for many years, a place, where local residents can relax and socialize. Green spaces have been restored, furniture repaired and painted, the playground appliances repaired and completed. It has been completely enclosed and asphalted a sports field, on which basketball can be practiced, can play handball or mini football. A video monitoring system was also installed, with eight cameras connected to Local Municipal Police dispatch.

Tricolor Square was completely rehabilitated as part of an investment that involved the creation of a granite pavement, sustainable, easy to maintain, the placement of new urban furniture, several water fountains, the production of general and ornamental lighting with modern and economical elements, routes restoration of electrical installations, water and sewerage systems, the creation of green spaces to improve the quality of the civic space.

The equestrian statue of the great Michael the Brave from Targoviste is located in the middle of the square that bears his name, on the plateau in front of the Trade Union House. The squareWW has been transformed into a welcoming and modern public space by creating a unitary ensemble, suitable for a pedestrian platform with seats for rest, socializing and plaza style spaces, and depending on the season, hosting various artistic and cultural manifestations.

Metropolitan Park is well-known to residents of Târgovişte City. Because is in downtown and because is the only oasis of peace in daily agitation, the park can be considered a perfect place for a work break or relaxing after program. The park is delimited by two main arteries: Liberty Boulevard and Mircea the Elder Boulevard. The park was built at the end of 19th century in the city's central area, on a land that was part of the great garden surrounding Metropolitan Church in the past.  As a result of the investments made in the Metropolitan Park, the existing ruins were restored and enhanced, the Targoviste Metropolitan Church being a true landmark of the old seat, and the park was beautified by expanding the green space, rebuilding artesian wells and equipping with quality street furniture.
