SAINT NICOLAE ANDRONESTI CHURCH

Saint Nicolae Andronesti Church has been inspired by Neagoe Basarab foundation, Saint Gheorghe Church with the same planimetric and monumental plastic structure.
The church plan was initially formed by square pronaos covered in the middle of 17th century with a calotte supported on the arc in the console, to which is added a rectangular nave and apse of the altar, circular inside. This was added to the west by a porch with eight masonry pillars, octagonal section and rounded with a semi-cylinders crosswise arranged, reinforced with two double arcs.
Its medieval pictures, preserved until now, particularly impresses the visitors.
