About
Located on the street with the same name, the Kretzulescu Church has a particular peculiarity among the monuments of ecclesiastical architecture by the fact that it uses many elements of Gothic architecture, taken from the old Catholic church nearby (portal, frames).
Archaeological research undertaken in 2001 and 2002 has shown that the church had a painting that precedes the present one. When it was made was not known, it is certain that the painting’s remnants were discovered under the floor in 1861.
